Wyedean Prom Swap Shop

Year 11 Prom 

We understand that the financial pressures of prom can often cause concerns for families and learners and for us.  We also understand the importance of helping the environment and preventing landfill. 

With this in mind, we have set up Wyedean School’s Prom Swap Shop. We have a selection of beautiful prom dresses and smart suits in a range of sizes for your choosing.  All we ask is that you take care of your borrowed outfit and return it for next year's prom.  We have a seamstress available who has offered to alter the dresses or suits for no charge. Why not loan a very unique dress or suit and promote a sustainable fashion industry!

In addition, we have had two salons who have offered to help to support students. Quayside salon has offered students free beauty treatments, and Redz hair shop have offered their hairdressing services. We have been overwhelmed by this generous response – thank you.

We hope that this service alleviates some financial pressures and will make the prom experience a more enjoyable and stress-free time to celebrate.
