The awarding bodies (the Exam Boards) have designated Wednesday 28th June 2023 as the ‘contingency day’ for examinations. The afternoons of Thursday 8th June and Thursday 15th June have been designated as ‘contingency afternoons’ for examinations. 

 The designation of ‘contingency days’ within the common examination timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations.  

Candidates must be available on all contingency afternoons/days should an awarding body need to invoke their contingency plan. 

PLEASE NOTE - any individual timetable variations or supervision sessions because of clashes are not shown on the overall timetable and students should refer to their own individual timetable for these.  The overall timetable should only be used as a guide.
