Wyedean’s First Give final!
On Tuesday 4th June, students in Year 7 took part in Wyedean’s First Give final!
Students have been working extremely hard to promote, raise awareness and fundraise for their chosen charities. As a school, students organised cake sales, charity sporting fixtures and even a ‘plank off’ with Mr Ellam! It was great fun and amazing to see such enthusiasm demonstrated by our students! We were able to raise almost £1000 as a school which has been split across the charities below:
In the final students presented to a panel of judges and parents about their chosen charity, social action and how they have contributed to such great causes in a bid to win £1000 for their chosen charity! All students were absolutely superb but the overall winner was 7E, representing St Mungo’s; a local charity supporting the homeless.
A massive congratulations to all First Give representatives; you did Wyedean proud!
