 Summer Examinations 2022

Final Summer exam timetables for external examinations have now been issued to students.  External examinations will take place for some year 10 students in BTEC Sport (18th May) and Hospitality (21st June), with the summer mock examination season commencing for all students on 20th June.

Timetables are also visible on Edulink and should be checked daily through the exam season in case of any changes. If you face any problems accessing EduLink One app, please contract ITSupport@wyedeanschool.com

General information and rules regarding the conduct of examinations can be found under the ‘Parents and Curriculum’ section of the School website.  The latest guidance on covid-19 and exam absence is included in Wyedean School Exam Information 2021-2022 and this will be updated as and when we receive further guidance from exam boards.

Please make yourself familiar with this information and ensure that your child is aware of the regulations, in particular those which could result in them being turned away from the examination room or lead to disqualification.  Mobile phones, and any type of watch are not permitted in the examination room.  There is bag storage available, but the school accepts no liability for any loss of items.

Please also ensure that your child has the correct equipment (black pen, pencil, calculators, maths equipment etc) to be able to complete their examinations, as spare equipment may not be available in the examination room.

Any student taking external examinations, must be available on the exam contingency day of 29th June.

Year 10 Mock Examinations June 2022

The Year 10 mock examinations will take place over 10 days, commencing on Monday 20th of June 2022 until the 1st of July.  As a school we understand that it is important to prepare our current Year 10 students for sitting examinations for their GCSE courses. It is therefore essential that we continually provide students with opportunities to practise working in examination conditions and that we have an accurate reflection of pupil performance. Our mock examinations form a crucial part of this process and also enable us to plan and manage future intervention and guidance.

We ask that students attend their exams with all the equipment they need for the exam in question. Revision resources will be available on Microsoft teams with further details on Show My Homework.

We would value your support in helping your child in their preparations to ensure that their achievements in these examinations are a true reflection of their ability and potential. We cannot stress enough the significance of mock examinations; this is our most accurate indicator to date of your child’s progress and will determine teaching interventions and support for your child as we move forward towards the final exams next year

Your child has been issued with a mock examination timetable, which outlines all the examinations during this.  The full examination timetable is also included here.
