Rob Ford visit to the Houses of Parliament
Rob Ford was the only U.K. secondary principal asked to participate in an all Parliamentary Party Group on Global Education, Britain and Europe on Wednesday 8 May. The round table discussion comprised of mixture of MPs and members of the House of Lords in the room. They were very impressed with the work we do at Wyedean as an outward facing school with global education and MFL central in our ethos and approach. We will be in the parliamentary report as a school with several case studies used from our recent British Council film when they came in to interview staff and students back in February. Rob had the opportunity to brief the MPs and Lords about his new role as Director of Heritage International School and some of the global education work undertaken in Moldova and Eastern Europe.
